Definition of spherical compensator:
Spherical compensator is a flexible pipe connection device that achieves multi-directional displacement compensation through a spherical structure and is used to relieve stress caused by thermal expansion and contraction, vibration or installation errors.
Core function:
Absorb axial, lateral and angular displacement to ensure safe operation of the pipeline system.
Ball Compensator Main components:
Ball: core moving part, usually forged stainless steel, with polished surface to reduce friction.
Seal assembly: multi-layer graphite ring or PTFE material to ensure sealing under high pressure.
Housing/flange: carbon steel or stainless steel, providing structural support and connection interface.
Limiting rod (optional): prevents excessive rotation or displacement beyond the design range.
